My First Literacy Blog
In my earliest times of becoming literate I would struggle, It would be hard for me to be understanding and wouldn't know how to compose a sentence, I couldn't even write a simple email. That's when I received help, from tutorial, teachers, parents, and even extra classes that would help. I was in programs to help me improve my sense of literacy. I was inspired by people around me who can talk, write, and type fluently so I knew I wanted to be a part of the people who can do things so fluently. I wasn't who inspired me but my surroundings sure did. My extra support classes helped me fix my literacy and make me analyze things my easier they helped me push and figure out that I wasn't so hard. They would motivate me and break it down one by one... I was encouraged to continue and be at the average level at minimum. My early experiences were rough I would get pulled out of class and go to the program class to get one on one help because I was considered below average. That extra one on one help helped me understand by breaking things down simply. Outside the school setting I would understand the real world and simple conversations but half the times I didn't know what the worlds meant and struggled with higher tier literacies from reading signs to trying to figure events out by reading posters or even reading the news.
I began feeling literature when I started getting to the basic understanding and further pursue of literacy. I began learning the higher tier worlds and even using it in my writing to make my writing sound somewhat professonial. I enjoyed the process of watching movies and writing about them, viewing poems. Speaking was also an enjoyment. I had to admit that I would get frustrated and just not want to learn about literacy since I would be difficult to get to a higher placement in literacy. A role model I considered was people who hosted keynotes like Apple how they sounded professional, presentable, always made things intersting, and fun.
