 PT.2 Week of 4/15           In the other Wes Moore’s life music played a special role, especially Hip-Hop. Hip-hop would help coop around stuff and distract their mind.                 I have made various choices in my life. The choices I let enter my life has changed me significantly. I recently started an online business that is run on social media. My small business is a sneaker reseller where I buy, sell, and trade shoes that consist of streetwear and fashion. This business that I enjoy so much has changed my life in different ways. It taught me important skills that I can utilize professionally inside and outside my business in the real world. It taught me how a business works and how society acts. I have seen positive and negative things. That's just the outcome of a business but which has taught me important life lessons.  I learned that always being nice isn't the key, especially in a business since it allows people to step over you. Are We Products of our Environment or Products of our Expectations?      We are tomorrow's future; every generation passes by, and we expect a nurse, doctor, surgeon, tax filler, lawyer, judge, teacher, professor, etc. We live to expectations since that's what we're mainly used to. To become better and better, you will reach a goal once you expect what you will do or where you will be. The main question we often hear is, where do you expect to see yourself in the next ten years? This defines products of our expectations. We hope so much out of each other, and that's just reality.     We must set the standards of our expectations to further progress and always try to shoot for more than we expect. That is how growth occurs. When I go to the gym, I often try to beat my expectations, but I have to set the standards first, or as we know, products of our expectations, to win that standard. Is Higher Education Worth The Price?      Higher education is, as we all know, quite expensive. All of us desire to grow our knowledge and reach new heights, but this luxury comes at a cost. Is a college education worthwhile? Let's look.  Although it comes at a price, higher education prepares us for the real world and helps us prepare for the future. We carry the cost ourselves. The FAFSA helps the majority, however some people don't get as much support because of the enrollment criteria.  leaving us with no choice but to pay the price, and we're all curious as to whether this is the right thing for us to do.   Is Fast Food the New Tobacco?  As we all know the purpose of Tobacco is to be a highly addictive substance that most consume. You can refer to fast food as the new tobacco, due to its addictive goodness we all are guilty of. The nutrition doesn't add up, terrible quality but what makes us want it badly, We consume fast food meals due to its quickness, affordability, and most importantly its taste. The reason society compares fast food and Tobacco under the same category is due to their addictive quality. When we crave fast food we go to a fast food chain and order a junk meal with poor nutrients. This example we can note as addiction. Our Body won't function properly without balanced nutrition. POP CULTURE Three words pop culture can be defined in simple words: grouping, common idea, and formed. The reason the word choice was so simple is the idea of what pop culture is. The TED talk that Phil Miller presented to us mentioned the basic idea of pop culture and how it's formed in today's generation. Pop Culture isn't internally dead, a common way that pop culture is brought to life in today's world is social media. Social media is a big part of today's world, we all use it. To agree on something through social media we often like pictures, comments, or even repost. We often form a group and by doing this, we form an alliance, our alliance forms a common idea which results in pop culture. What we see in the media is portrayed as pop culture. The memes we see.
